Après avoir complété une
formation technique en bâtiment, Christophe entame en 2012 ses études supérieures
d’architecture à l’Université Laval (Québec). Il y obtiendra son baccalauréat
en 2015 (licence) et sa maîtrise (master) en 2017.
En 2015, il s’établit pour 6 mois au Sénégal, où il complète le dernier semestre de son baccalauréat au Collège Universitaire d’architecture de Dakar.
À la fin de sa maîtrise, il remporte la Médaille étudiante de l’IRAC (Institut royal d’architecture du Canada) pour l’excellence de son projet de thèse finale.
En 2018, il déménage à Montréal et commence à travailler chez Saucier+Perrotte architectes. Il y travaille depuis lors, œuvrant principalement sur des projets culturels/institutionnels de grande envergure.
En 2021, il devient membre de l’Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) et obtient ainsi le titre d’architecte. Dans ses temps libres, il travaille sur divers projets personnels (concours d’architecture, projets de recherche/projets artistiques).
After completing a technical training in building construction, Christophe began his architecture studies in 2012 at Laval University (Quebec). He obtains there his baccalaureate in 2015 (license) and his master's degree (master) in 2017.
In 2015, he travelled for 6 months in Senegal, where he completed the last semester of his baccalaureate at the Collège Universitaire d’architecture de Dakar.
At the end of his master's degree, he won the RAIC (Royal Architectural Institute of Canada) Student Medal for the excellence of his final thesis project.
In 2018, he moved to Montreal and began working at Saucier+Perrotte architectes. He has been working there ever since, working mainly on large-scale cultural/institutional projects.
In 2021, he became a member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) and thus obtained the title of architect. In his spare time, he works on various personal projects (architecture competitions, research projects/art projects).
The Festival des Architectures Vives in Montpellier is both an opportunity and a challenge to achieve this.

ici, fût., évoque délicatement les traces d’une présence humaine ancienne. Est-ce les restes d’un lieu de culte abandonné ou ceux d’un simple abri de nomades?
En matérialisant ce mystérieux aura associé aux vestiges humains, l’installation cherche à sensibiliser l’observateur sur la fragilité de notre passage sur terre.
Ceux qui furent et ceux qui seront : nos ancêtres et notre descendance... Une notion qui semble avoir déserté nos esprits contemporains au profit du moi, au profit du présent.
Minimale, l’installation mise sur la puissance des symboles architecturaux communs afin de s’ancrer dans le domaine de l’universel évitant ainsi toutes attaches culturelles spécifiques.
D’un caractère théâtral, le projet met en scène de simples artéfacts humains. Ces « restes », dépouillés de leur matérialité première, quittent le statut d’objets usuels pour devenir des témoins abstraits.
Concrètement, l’installation se compose de trois longues perches noires, de trois tabourets cylindriques noirs et d’une «carpette» blanche.
ici, fût., delicately evokes the traces of an ancient human settlement. Is it the remains of an abandoned place of worship or those of a simple nomadic shelter?
By materializing this mysterious aura associated with human remains, the installation seeks to make the observer aware of the fragility of our passage on earth.
Those who were and those who will be: our ancestors and our descendants... A notion that seems to have deserted our contemporary minds in favor of the self, in favor of the present.
Minimal, the installation relies on the power of common architectural symbols in order to anchor itself in the domain of the universal, thus avoiding any specific cultural ties.
